I don' t like talking that way, but I think I agree with you, Blue Devil. Gloating at anyone's death is tacky at best, but especially someone who was as well-loved as George Carlin. You didn't like him, Robin? Fair enough. I know other people who didn't, either. But for heaven's sake, let those of us who did, grieve.

I thought they were both quoting him myself.

Another artist that I should have saw live, had the chance to but didn't go. He was like Lenny Bruce, a pioneer. The people who hate him probably watch HBO and saw his post freebase elderly routine and shrugged. I watched his later stuff and only chuckled out of respect of his past works which were brilliant to say the least. Some of the metaphors and symbolism he comes up with is truely philosophical artistry.

The people who don't get it obviously never heard "What the hell am I doing in NJ?"...

I have the CD and it's funny, even if you are not from NJ.

If you honestly listen to it with and open mind and don't find it a bit humorous there may be something wrong with you...

Some people don't get Phil Hendrie or Family Guy either, go figure. (I know someone who actually likes aqua teen hf but not family guy????). ATHF is slightly funny for about a month and then gets old, while FG is funny even after seeing the same episode 20 times (they play the same 12 episodes over and over for some dumb reason).
